The Kitchen Classic Pickleball Tournament Recap
On November 12th, Autside and YoungLife Capernaum hosted the second annual Kitchen Classic Pickleball Tournament at Chicken N Pickle. We are so thankful for Chicken N Pickle for hosting this tournament and all the participants who came out to play, both competitively and socially! This pickleball tournament was a great success, with all proceeds going towards making a positive impact in the lives of young people with intellectual and developmental disabilities through YoungLife Capernaum.
Our pickleball tournament had something for everyone, even those new to the game! We offered both competitive and social competition divisions, so that everyone could have fun while playing their best. Our competitive division featured skilled players working together in teams of two to compete against each other. Meanwhile, our social division was just that—a great way to have fun without worrying about winning or losing.
We also had some unique activities happening outside of the court as well. Participants were able to take part in cornhole competitions during breaks between rounds, which proved to be quite popular (and fun)!
All in all, The Kitchen Classic Pickleball Tournament was an amazing experience for everyone involved. We are very thankful to Chicken N Pickle for hosting this event, our sponsors for providing prizes and support, and all of the participants who came out and made this event possible—together we raised money that will be used towards giving young people with disabilities access to life-changing experiences through YoungLife Capernaum! Thank you again!
